Albury Manor House

As you walk in you think wow really cool, looks medieval. The friendly staff are helpful. The bed is very comfortable. Laundry is free to use (but messy I had to fix the light) BUT, the room was a bit disappointing and very impracticable, with nowhere to put anything. The fridge had too much stuff in it for you to buy, IE coke, Mars bars, beer etc. So not much room to put your stuff in there. Very annoying. The bathroom was old in fact the place is old and starting to show it, The bathroom tiles hadn't had a good scrub for a long time, and the shower rose grotty. Holes in the carpet on the stairs. You can have dinner brought to your room (extra charge) There is 1 chair that doesn't fit under a writing desk (very nice looking one) but is totally useless where does the second person sit? A simple table would be better. The cupboard hiding the fridge won't close and torn curtain. Even the TV was dirty Sadly I can't recommend this place. And it's not cheap.

We have stayed here multiple times over many years. Always great service from friendly and efficient staff. Convenient and quiet location only minutes from main highway. Plenty of free off street parking, some undercover. Older style but rooms are large and clean, comfortable beds. On site licensed restaurant that has always satisfied our hunger. Free wifi. Delivers all that you need for an overnight or short stay at a reasonable price. Downtown an easy walk.

I had a two-night, mid-week stay at Albury Manor House in mid January. Full of character with casual old world charm. Sure, it's a little older in style, but my room was spacious, clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced at less than $250 in total. Speaking of which, the menu has a lot of options and is also very reasonably priced. The staff I spoke with were delightful. Around 7 mins drive from the airport with secure parking onsite. I'm glad I chose this place and I would happily stay again.
